Dr. Joseph Ayitey-Adjin, better known as “Dr. Joe”, was born in Ghana, Africa. A few years later he moved to Dallas, TX where he was raised with his younger brother and sister. Growing up, Dr. Joe was able to observe firsthand the disparities in dental care between the United States and other parts of the world. His unique background is what launched him toward a career in the service of others.
He attended Texas A&M University, College Station where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science. While in college he was involved in numerous Predental organizations and volunteered his services at local dental clinics. He then earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Joe has never lost sight of his passion for serving others. Since attending dental school, he has been able to serve his community by providing free dental services for those in underserved areas. The highlight of his service was returning to Ghana to provide free dental care to those unable to afford dental care.
He stays active in the dental community through his affiliations with the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the Dallas County Dental Society. He is dedicated to the newest advancements in oral surgery, cosmetic, and implant dentistry, and keeps up-to-date with the latest technologies.
In their spare time, Dr. Joe, his lovely wife, Anthonette, and their 3 children, Rylee, Noah, and Sebastian enjoy spending time together with family and friends, traveling, and staying actively involved in their church.
